Components of the Canadian Diabetes Strategy

• Aboriginal Diabetes Initiative
• National Co-ordination

Each component's activities are guided by an advisory body. The steering committees, as these bodies are known, draw their membership variously from provincial governments, non-governmental and Aboriginal organizations, universities, consumer and other interested groups. These are the:

• Coordination Committee of the Canadian Diabetes Strategy
