The Grants & Contributions Fund

As part of the Canadian Diabetes Strategy, a Grants and Contributions fund was established to aid external organizations in developing, implementing and evaluating national, regional and local diabetes prevention and promotion projects.
This time-limited funding will be specifically used to support Non-government organizations (NGO's) involved in increasing awareness about diabetes and reducing the burden of diabetes through community-based initiatives in Canada.

NGO's involved in the above activities can consult the fund's guidelines or a Request for Proposal for specific details concerning eligibility, timelines, terms and conditions, objectives, and priorities. Proposals that meet these requirements will be reviewed by Health Canada internal staff in consultation with external experts who are involved in some or any of the areas concerned.
