January 2006
by Sarah

1 Pack of Philly Cream Cheese
3/4 cup of softened margarine
1 cup of white sugar
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/4 cups of flour
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. almond extract
1 cup of slivered almonds, finely chopped.

Beat cream cheese, margarine, sugar and vanilla in a large bowl with an electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add flour and baking soda, mix well. Add almond extract and chopped almonds to dough. Put in fridge for 30 minutes. Shape 1" balls of dough into crescent shapes; flatten slightly. Bake 10-12 minutes. Cool on a wire rack and sprinkle with icing sugar.

Enjoy!
