Culture is a concept which groups together a variety of ideas that are
a reflection of our society. As part of the Youth Employment Strategy,
the Canadian government offers a wide range of programs pertaining to
cultural themes. To make your research a little bit easier, below are

From archeology to sports and recreation!
Are you interested in archeology? Maybe it's the world of publishing that
appeals to you? Perhaps you're a musician or a sports enthusiast? Whatever
information you're looking for, you'll find it all on the new Internet
portal managed by Canadian Heritage: www.culturecanada.gc.ca.
Culture with a capital "H"
Canadian Heritage is indispensable in matters of culture. You can consult
the department's various programs at the following address: www.pch.gc.ca.
The site offers information on a wide range of topics, from copyright
to the promotion of Canadian culture abroad. What's more, this department
is responsible for several agencies and corporations whose links you'll
find on the site.

Then you should visit the following site: www.culturalhrc.ca.
The mission of the Cultural Human Resources Council is to contribute to
the development of human resources and to facilitate planning in the arts
and culture sector. You can leave your résumé or become
a member in order to be kept up to date on the latest information that
will help you develop your career.

Then it's the Canada Council for the Arts that you should turn to at:

This site contains all the relevant information about grants for artists
and arts organizations. The Canada Council for the Arts also offers several
prizes and fellowships for artists and scholars, for their contribution
