EARNS AWARDS FOR OUTSTANDING COMMUNICATION

In the 1997 Gold Quill Awards competition sponsored by the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC), This Battle Which I Must Fight won awards of merit in the fields of technical writing and design.

IABC is a 12,500-member not-for-profit association committed to improving the effectiveness of organizations through strategic communications.

EARNS AWARD FOR EXCELLENCE IN HEALTH CARE COMMUNICATIONS

The 1997 Hygeia Award was presented at The Health Care Public Relations Association (HCPRA) National Convention held June 15 to 17, 1997. This Battle Which I Must Fight won first place in the special publications general category.

HCPRA is the only organization primarily focused on the professional needs and concerns of public relations practitioner in the Canadian health care setting. The annual awards program encourages Canadian health care public relations professionals to strive to meet the highest standards in their communications work.
