NACA recently released Seniors and Technology in its "Writings
in Gerontology" series. The publication presents the result of
surveys and research on the use of technology by seniors as well as the
perspective of seniors on the place of technology in everyday life. What
are the benefits and pitfalls of these technologies? Are seniors reluctant
to use them? Are industry and government paying attention to the particular
needs of seniors? Seniors and Technology explores the issues and
suggests steps to reduce the "digital divide" and ensure that
seniors reap all the benefits that technology offers.
