Policy and Workplace Health Strategies Bureau

The Policy and Workplace Health Strategies Bureau supports policy development and research activities aimed at maintaining and improving the health of Canadians through the creation of healthier workplaces.

The Bureau promotes a collaborative approach to explore and address workplace health issues. It is currently supporting research initiatives that will eventually inform a national strategy to position workplace health as a means to improve the health of Canadian workers, reduce work-related health care costs and improve the productivity of the economy.

The Bureau works in partnership with other federal government departments, governments at the provincial, territorial and municipal levels, the business community, labour and voluntary organizations, and the research community. The Bureau also provides publications to assist employers in improving the health of their workplaces.
