Strategic Policy and Special Projects Unit

Strategic Policy and Special Projects is accountable for:

• Directing Audit and Accountability Bureau's (AAB's) research strategy and activities related to audit and analyzing results of philosophies and methodologies of advanced audit organizations in other countries;
• Managing the secretariat function and other activities related to the Departmental Audit and Evaluation Committee with external members;
• Managing the Departmental coordination of Access to Information requests;
• Implementation and coordination of a framework to ensure quality assurance of all of AAB activities; and
• Establishing a framework for implementing the new Internal Audit Policy.
