Welcome to the National Council on Ethics
in Human Research (NCEHR)
The National Council on Ethics in Human Research
is:
- a non governmental organization established
in 1989 and incorporated in 2003;
- sponsored by:
- Canadian Institutes of Health Research;
- Health Canada; and
- The Royal College of Physicians and
Surgeons of Canada;
- composed of voluntary members interested
in furthering its mission.
NCEHR's Mission is:
- To advance the protection and well-being
of human participants in research; and
- To foster high ethical standards for the
conduct of research involving humans.
