The Canadian General Standards Board does not automatically

name, phone number, e-mail or street address during your

under the federal Privacy

The Canadian General Standards Board employs software
programs to monitor network traffic to identify unauthorized
attempts to upload or change information, or otherwise
cause damage. This software receives and records the Internet
Protocol (IP) addresses of computers that have connected
with their Web sites. We make no attempt to link these
addresses with the identity of individuals visiting our
site unless an attempt to damage the site has been detected.

The Canadian General Standards Board does not regularly
use 'cookies' to track how visitors use the Web sites
of individual institutions. Whenever we enable 'cookies'
to facilitate your transactions, we will first inform
you. (A cookie is a file that may be placed on your hard
