Robbie Burns Dinner

November 2006.  Thanks to the Heritage Green Community Trust, Hamilton’s newest conservation area will be opened in 2008 as the cornerstone of Hamilton Conservation Authority’s 50th anniversary celebration.  The 180-acre Eramosa Karst site was officially transferred to HCA by the Province of Ontario on October 23, 2006.  The Heritage Green Community Trust, formerly Taro Community Trust, will donate $1.5 million to pay for the development of the conservation area as well as some operational costs once the area is open to the public.  More on the Eramosa Karst.
