The 12th International Congress of Immunology (ICI)
The 12th International Congress of Immunology (ICI) was held July 18-23, 2004 in Montreal, QC, Canada. The Federation of Clinical Immunology Societies (FOCIS) integrated its fourth annual conference with ICI. The scientific program blended the basic science discoveries in immunology with their translation to clinical practice, under the major themes of immune regulation, immunogenetics, host resistance to infection and malignancy, immunodiagnosis and immunointervention. Furthermore, the essential link between academic research and technology transfer, and the market development of new diagnostic procedures, drugs and services in immunology, featured prominently at the Congress.
