| The International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is a non-governmental organization that facilitates on-the-job training and offers a variety of career-related job postings abroad, providing the opportunity to work in fields related to your future career goals. |

Positions range in length from being 8-12 week summer jobs to being up to one year. |

Target Audience |

Students between 19 and 35, residing in Canada, and who are attending courses at universities, institutes of technology and similar institutions of higher education, studying Science and Technology or Engineering; |
|
|
|
Exceptions can be made for recent graduates doing practical training immediately after final examinations. |
|

Funding |
|
|
|
|
|
The participant is responsible for: |
|
|
|
Travel arrangements and costs, and for obtaining a passport and visa when necessary; |
|
|
|
Health, accident and life insurance, which are mandatory for the total work period under IAESTE; |
|
|
|
The application fee to IAESTE; |
|
Other: |
|
|
|
Student salaries in foreign countries are sufficient to cover your food and lodging costs during the period of your employment, but do not cover your transportation and insurance costs. |
