Health Canada's Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) has developed a 'Blueprint for Renewal' - a plan for modernizing and creating a more responsive regulatory system for health products and food. The plan aims to address the challenges posed by new technologies, scientific advances and the changing expectations of Canadians related to the safety, efficiency and transparency of the regulatory system.
HPFB is seeking the views of the public on the Blueprint, through a discussion document and an on-line workbook. Targeted discussion sessions are also being held in various regions with key stakeholders. The objective of the consultation is to share information on the Blueprint for Renewal and to gain your feedback on its strategic directions and key initiatives.
