The Government of New Brunswick is proud to announce the New Brunswick Tuition Tax Cash Back Credit.
This program is a first for Canada, and is the most significant new incentive for New Brunswick students in over a generation.
Under this program, New Brunswickers and others who attended post-secondary institutions anywhere, paid tuition after January 1, 2005 and decide to live and work in New Brunswick, will be eligible for a rebate of 50% of their tuition costs.
Individuals can apply for up to $2,000 per year to a maximum of $10,000.
How to apply?
The first rebates can be claimed after April 2007, once New Brunswick income tax returns are filed for the 2006 taxation year.
Individuals will apply directly to the New Brunswick Department of Finance for the rebate.
Application forms are in the final stages of development, and will be posted on this web site early in 2007.
