I would like to offer sincere congratulations to Ed Stelmach, the Premier-Designate for Alberta. I guarantee it will be a wonderful journey, leading Albertans into the future — a journey with many challenges and many rewards.
Ed's leadership skills, character and determination resulted in him winning the leadership race and will certainly move Alberta in the right direction.
It is a pleasure for me to pass the torch on to Ed Stelmach and welcome him as the next Premier of Alberta — a position I have been honoured to hold for 14 years.
