Health Canada Warns Consumers Not to Use "Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral Neutralizer" or "Miracle
II Miracle Neutralizer"
OTTAWA - Health Canada is warning consumers across Canada not to use the natural
health products "Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral Neutralizer" or "Miracle II Miracle Neutralizer." Health
Canada has analyzed a sample of each product and found that the "Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral
Neutralizer" sample contained bacteria, including Pseudomonas aeruginosa and Enterobacter
cloacae, and the sample of "Miracle II Miracle Neutralizer" contained Escherichia coli .
Using either of these products may result in serious adverse reactions or death. Adverse health
reactions can include nausea, severe diarrhea, body rash and fever. Children may be more sensitive
to these effects than adults.
"Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral Neutralizer" is manufactured by Master's Miracle, in Minnesota,
USA and is packaged in 8 oz, 20 oz and 1 gallon plastic bottles. "Miracle II Miracle Neutralizer" is
exported by Tedco Incorporated, in Louisiana, USA and is packaged in 8 oz, 22 oz and 1 gallon plastic
bottles. Neither product is authorized for sale in Canada. These products are mainly sold directly
to consumers through the Internet by individual distributors but could also be found at some retail
stores in Canada.
"Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral Neutralizer" is a natural health product sold as an oral, opthalmic
(eye drop) and topical preparation to help balance the body's pH level. It is also advertised for
numerous uses, such as bathing, as a clothing stain remover, household cleaner, and for eliminating
odours.
"Miracle II Miracle Neutralizer" is a natural health product sold for uses such as: heartburn,
sunburn, pet and plant health, and vegetable cleaning. It comes in normal strength, double strength,
and triple strength. "Miracle II Miracle Neutralizer" is also available in concentrated liquid form
or powder for agricultural use. It can be taken orally or applied directly to the skin.
If Canadians have taken or have been exposed to either "Master's Miracle Fortified Mineral Neutralizer" or "Miracle
II Miracle Neutralizer"and have experienced any symptoms, or are concerned about their health, they
are advised to consult their physicians immediately.
Health Canada is verifying the importations of these products to ensure that all are removed from
the Canadian market. Canada Customs and Revenue Agency has also been notified to prevent further
products from being imported into Canada.

Neither product is authorized for sale in Canada. Products which have been approved for sale in
Canada must meet the health and safety requirements of the Food and Drugs Act and its associated
Regulations. The marketing authorization may be in the form of a Drug Identification Number (DIN)
or a natural health product licence, as denoted by a Natural Product Number (NPN) or a Homeopathic
Drug Number (DIN-HM).
At the time of issuance of this Warning, Health Canada does not have accurate information concerning
the disposal of this product. Consumers with this product are advised not to dispose of the contaminated
product in their garbage or to return these products in the mail. Consumers are advised to store
the products in a safe place and to check the Health Canada web site in the coming days for advice
on how to dispose of the products safely. The public is encouraged to contact Health Canada's Health
Products and Food Branch Inspectorate if they have any questions about this advisory at this toll
