Testing Services

The Product Safety Laboratory analyses and evaluates products for compliance with the requirements of the Hazardous Products Act and can provide advice to companies on where they can get their product tested.

The Product Safety Laboratory can carry out testing services (at cost), using Health Canada's standardized test methods, where those services are not available elsewhere. Contract testing by Health Canada does not represent approval, endorsement or indication of compliance with the Hazardous Products Act in any manner whatsoever.
