Non-Governmental and Private Sector Partnerships
Health Canada works with a number of different partners to help maintain and improve the health of Canadians. These partnerships often include non-governmental and private-sector organizations, including the following:
- Canadian Association of Chiefs of Police;
- National Indian and Inuit Community Health Representatives Organization;
- Canadian Centre for Ethics in Sport; and
- Canadian Meat Council.
These partnerships often result in new ideas and solutions to help us get important health-related information out to Canadians.

tools and a training program for health professionals to promote
