Environment Canada (EC) has recently released its Environmental Solutions Through Technology Innovation and Partnerships report, showcasing recent success stories that illustrate the key role being played by the Department's Environmental Protection Service and regional offices in the development and demonstration of practical environmental solutions. The report was produced by the Innovative Solutions Division (ISD) of EC's Environmental Technology Advancement Directorate (ETAD).
These successes are the result of collaborative efforts and partnerships established with the private sector, academia, research centres and other levels of government.
Functioning as a communications tool, the report offers the opportunity to share information, both within and beyond the Department, on the development of innovative, environmentally sound technologies and best practices in which EC was a collaborative player. By facilitating awareness, providing access and linking existing information sources through a report such as this one, EC is helping to ensure that the most up-to-date and comprehensive information is available in Canada and abroad for addressing our many environmental priorities.
