This report describes a process for recovering solvent and energy from still-bottom sludges produced from the conventional distillation of solvent-paint mixtures. The pilot plant and the demonstration plant operated by Anachemia Solvents Ltd. are described. Performance of the system and its environmental impact are also addressed.
