This report presents the results of a study undertaken by Environment Canada, the United States Environmental Protection Agency, Alberta Environment, and 15 businesses involved in developing or marketing solidification technology, to develop and validate 16 laboratory test methods for evaluating the physical and chemical properties of solidified wastes. The test methods investigated represent the state of the are in 1985. Research has continued since then.
