COMPENSATION TRAINING COURSE CALENDAR
The Ontario Region Public Works and Government Services
Calendar of Compensation Courses has been prepared for clients by the
Ontario Region Compensation and Payment Centre in Scarborough. It is intended
for use by managers, supervisors, and employees when they are looking
for appropriate programs and courses which will help employees acquire,
maintain, and/or upgrade knowledge and skills needed to meet the requirements
of positions within the discipline of compensation. Included are courses
in pay, superannuation, and insurances.
It is important to note that there are no tuition fees for these courses.
They are offered as part of the compensation services provided by Public
Works and Government Services.
Additionally, it should be stressed that there is qualified staff available
to answer your questions and assist in the development of your training
plans. We are also prepared to develop additional courses designed to
meet your specific needs.We may also be able to conduct training at your
work location.
Finally , it should be noted that this is a special year of transition
for us as many of our courses are being updated in order to better meet
your learning needs. Advanced Pay and all of the Insurances courses are
in the process of being modified to include an on-line portion which participants
will be required to complete prior to coming to us for a facilitated classroom
session.
