SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT
B.C. MEDICAL SERVICES FOUNDATION FIRST NATIONS* SCHOLARSHIP IN HEALTH AND HUMAN SERVICE PROGRAMS
A $5,000 Scholarship for an Aboriginal student enrolled in a professional degree in Health and Human Services is offered by the B.C. Medical Services Foundation Scholarship Fund, established by Dr. John H.V. Gilbert, adminstered by the Vancouver Foundation, in collaboration with the College of Health Disciplines, Institute for Aboriginal Health and First Nations House of Learning.
To Apply:
- Must be enrolled in a professional degree program in a Health and Human Service faculty as a full-time student,
- Include:
- Student number,
- Aboriginal ancestry affiliation,
- Recent transcripts,
- A letter of self-promotion, describing service to the Aboriginal community,
- Two letters of reference, one letter from a faculty member and one from an Aboriginal community or organization and,
- CV including recent awards received
