What It Is | IBOC is a partnership between the Department of Foreign Affairs and International Trade and Industry Canada, working closely with Canadian Trade Commissioners abroad. When Canadian trade officers identify an opportunity from a foreign buyer, they send it to IBOC. IBOC sourcing officers communicate with Canadian companies, research extensive databases (ie. WinExports) and an impressive network of business contacts across Canada to find Canadian companies that are ready to sell their products and services to markets worldwide. |
How It Works | Canadian companies are invited to subscribe free of charge to IBOC's electronic leads service, E-Leads®. Companies select their preferences detailing specific sectors they are involved in and regions they wish to export. As IBOC receives business opportunities from trade officers, they are pushed via E-Leads® directly to your desktop. This service is offered exclusively to Canadian Companies. |
