Highlighted in the report are regional and national activities that have contributed to the focus and direction of the National EA Program. Also found within this report are challenges of the coming year, including climate change and the expected decision to ratify the Kyoto Protocol, and the anticipated new legislation of the Canadian Environmental Assessment Act.
