Vinyl Chloride Release Regulations, 1992 (SOR/92-631)
The Regulations limit the release of vinyl chloride from vinyl chloride plants and polyvinyl chloride plants. The Regulations require operators to submit plans for the control of fugitive emissions and ensure that they report releases exceeding regulated standards. They also contain provisions regarding malfunctions and breakdowns, emission testing and reporting.
