New Substances Notification Forms

The New Substances Notification (NSN) Forms serve as an aid for complying with the New Substances Notification Regulations (Chemicals and Polymers) and for completing the NSN dossiers prior to their submission to Environment Canada.

Please note that, although Environment Canada is supplying you with an electronic version of these forms for your convenience, only hard copies of the forms with an original signature, provided in duplicate as per subsection 14(2) of NSNR (Chemicals & Polymers) of the Guidelines for the Notification and Testing of New Substances, will be accepted at this time.
