Noah

Hi everyone!!! I'm Noah and I was one of the co-leaders of the Twisted 96ers team. I'm just finishing up my 3rd year of university at Carleton in Social Work and have been doing lots of youth type stuff for a couple years now.

This team was great because I got to meet all sorts of interesting people from across Canada and learn about all their different interests and activities. Favorite moments? There have been too many to count! I really enjoyed learning what kind of silly activities pique people's interest online and what doesn't and learning about the ways people think about things and the people behind the login names.

The meetings with the other Team Leaders were always entertaining as we shared our victories and frustrations and learned about the exciting potential the site could offer. Some memorable ones include the sandwich survey and some of the great dialogues between members that resulted from silly pictures as well as all the tomfoolery that followed and was included in many of our face to face meetings. It was often amazing what really insightful ideas some of the team members came up with that really made a difference in my way of thinking about creating a Web site for youth.

I'm really excited to see the fruits of our labour and the usefulness of this website. I really see the potential of such a site to demystify government services for youth across Canada and also act as a rallying point to promote youth advocacy and the needs of youth. It's been lots of fun and I hope that all of the new visitors have as much fun exploring this site as we had building it.

Just remember "Imagination is more important than Knowledge" (Albert Einstein) and enjoy life... see ya on the flip side.

Noah
