Welcome to the WEST Web Site

Welcome to the Women, Environment, Science and Technology (WEST) web site

The purpose of this site is to provide general information on the Women, Environment, Science and Technology project undertaken by Environment Canada and a second initiative undertaken by federal departments.

There are two main sections of the WEST web site: Environment Canada WEST Committee and the Women in Federal S&T Working Group (established under the Federal Government's Science & Technology Human Resource Senior Steering Committee) to address issues and make recommendations relating to improving the environment for women in Environment Canada and the federal science and technology workforce.
