Health Policy Research Contribution Audits
Health Canada commissions contribution audits through the Health
Policy Research Program to ensure that:
- Funds provided by the Health
Policy Research Program are used in accordance with
the terms and conditions of the contribution agreements and
the recipients have complied with the specified laws and regulations
governing the contributions;
- The recipients utilize
financial and other administrative procedures with proper internal
controls to protect federal interests and effectively discharge
their management responsibilities; and
- Financial information
included in reports and financial statements are presented fairly
and reported on a basis consistent with that of the prior period.
