Tracking Migrating Species through their Isotopic Fingerprints

BirdHumans are not so different from animals, insects, and plants; we are made of millions of different molecules, each containing a handful of elements. But, due to having a different number of neutrons, sometimes elements behave slightly different in chemical and physical reactions; those are called isotopes.

The best way to preserve biodiversity is to protect the existing habitats which already support wildlife populations.
