Cooperation Areas – Laboratory

The Trilateral Cooperation is building a trustworthy analytical network of laboratories to assist each other, especially in times of emergency situations. Through continual discussions, member agencies share information with a view to building confidence in each jurisdictions' analytical results.

The agencies involved in this area of cooperation include:

  • Canada - Health Product and Food Branch of Health Canada, and Canadian Food Inspection Agency

  • Mexico - Federal Commission for the Protection From Sanitary Risks (COFEPRIS )

  • United States - Food and Drug Administration
