Cooperation Areas - Health Fraud

The Mexico-US-Canada Health Fraud Group (MUCH) works collaboratively to combat health fraud and to protect and promote the health and economic well being of citizens through cooperative initiatives and the continual exchange of information about compliance and enforcement activities in the three countries.

The agencies involved in this area of cooperation include:

• Health Products and Food Branch (HPFB) of Health Canada
• Competition Bureau (CB)

Mexico

• Federal Commission for the Protection From Sanitary Risks, (COFEPRIS)
• Office of the Federal Attorney for Consumer Protection (PROFECO)

United States

• Food and Drug Administration (FDA)
• Federal Trade Commission (FTC)
