Q: What is the number for the Breast Screening Clinic in Halifax?

Q: Where can I get tested for HIV (i.e. the virus that can lead to AIDS)?
A: You can be tested by any family physician who can make the blood requisition either in your name (confidential testing) or instead with a code (non-nominal testing). However, the physician will know your name and you may have to go to your local hospital to have your blood sample taken. The only Anonymous HIV testing clinic currently in the province is in Halifax at Planned Parenthood - Metro Clinic. Here your name is never asked for and the blood is taken on the premises.
