2001 Census Technical Reports and User Guides
This series of technical reports, examines the quality of data from the 2001 Census, a large and complex
undertaking. Despite the considerable effort taken to ensure high quality
standards throughout each step, the census results are subject to a certain
degree of error. Each report contains definitions and explanations on census
concepts, data quality and historical comparability, as well as on the data
collection and the edit and imputation components of the census.
Additional information is available in the user guides for specific variables to help users better understand the concept and questions used in the census.
All technical reports and user guides are available free of charge via the Internet.
