Welcome to the APEC-Canada youth page! Here you will find information and opportunities relating to APEC (Asia Pacific Economic Cooperation). APEC members work together to promote trade facilitation and capacity building in the Asia-Pacific region. Getting involved in an APEC-related program could lead to many exciting opportunities.

Programs and Opportunities

The Global Vision APEC Youth Outreach Program - With the support of Foreign Affairs Canada (FAC), Global Vision Canada (GVC) has developed an APEC Youth Outreach Program for young Canadians. The program is a component of GVC's Global Leader Centres, held annually from coast-to-coast. Be the first of Canadian youth to participate in this new APEC Case Study (simulation) based on APEC's response to the Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) crisis of 2003. Participation in the APEC Youth Outreach Program could lead to an exciting opportunity to attend the APEC Summit held in the fall of each year.
