Later Life

The Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC) Atlantic works with seniors throughout the region.  Under the population health approach, seniors in Atlantic Canada have learned new ways of working together and with others to influence policies that affect them. For example, with support from the Population Health Fund, organizations are working in partnership across provincial boundaries to address issues such as informal caregiving, medication awareness, and attitudes about aging.
