Technology Advancement involves promoting and advancing science and technology applications to address environmental protection priorities. ETAD focuses on overseeing the Canadian Environmental Technology Advancement Centres (CETACs), leading and coordinating environmental technology trade missions, and promoting the development of the Canadian Environmental Technology Verification (ETV) program. ETAD also assists in promoting the commercialization and transfer of new environmental protection technologies.
