Hepatitis C Disease Prevention, Community-based Support and Research Program

The Disease Prevention, Community-based Support and Research Program is part of the Hepatitis C Division of the Public Health Agency of Canada (PHAC).  The program has five major components:

  • Prevention
  • Care and awareness
  • Community-based support
  • Research
  • Policy.

PHAC Atlantic assists community-based groups that provide support to those affected by hepatitis C through regionally coordinated activities and time-limited project funding.

PHAC Atlantic periodically conducts solicitations for projects funded through this program.
