Under The Vital Statistics Act, 1995 of Saskatchewan,
Vital Statistics
can release only post-adoption information with respect
to a birth registration. To apply for a birth certificate
where an adoption has occurred, you must provide details
of the adoption including the adoptive name of the child
and the names of the adoptive parents.
For pre-adoption information, you must contact the
provincial or territorial agency where the adoption
occurred to obtain information on how and what information
