Commander CANOSCOM
The Canadian Operational Support Command is responsible for providing all operational support functions to Canadian Forces missions in Canada and around the world, and as such is a supporting Command to Canada Command, Canadian Expeditionary Force Command and Canadian Special Operations Forces Command. Our vision is to unite all of these operational functions under one roof while rapidly developing a mature, agile and responsive organization.
From theatre activation, to sustainment of an operation, and then theatre closure, our mission is to provide the most effective and efficient operational support possible so that commanders can focus on their mission.
I am excited about the prospect of building a solid foundation for this command, while maintaining effective and efficient support to current operations, and meeting the complex challenges of a post 9/11 world. Ultimately it is the diversity, competency and skill of our personnel, both military and civilian, that will ensure we achieve mission success.
