Photo Department of National Defence employees are key players in defining Defence policy, administering the Defence budget, establishing and co-ordinating institutional plans and priorities, running and maintaining the Department's data and telecommunications network, providing human resource services and advice as well as internal and external communication services. These functions are performed by finance and policy experts, information management and technology specialists such as requirement analysts, program managers, service desk analysts, human resource advisors as well as communication and public relation professionals.
