There are 422 Canadian Rangers in 3 CRPG, located in 15 patrols or communities. There are 440 Junior Canadian Rangers in 3 CRPG, located in 12 patrols or communities. Although there are only fifteen communities with Canadian Rangers or Junior Canadian Rangers in Ontario, residents in this province are strong supporters of the two organizations. Canadian Rangers have a long and proud history in Ontario and it was actually 3 CRPG that led the cry for a revitalization of the organization. 3 CRPG is one of only two areas to offer summer training to its youth. 3 CRPG was also the host to the Youth Jeunesse 2000 symposium, in Hearst during the summer of 2000. In terms of demographics, Canadian Rangers and Junior Canadian Rangers in 3 CRPG speak Cree or Ojicree, as well as English.
