![]() Junior Canadian RangersFirearm SafetyAll Junior Canadian Rangers and Rangers receive training in the safe handling and firing of their respective firearms and weapons. The importance of safety (including the wearing of safety glasses and ear defenders) is stressed at all times and members are not permitted to use the firearms until they have demonstrated sufficient awareness of the four vital acts of firearm safety. The four vital ACTS of firearm safety are as follows:
