Operations Support

PhotoCivilians support the Canadian Forces' military operations by ensuring that the equipment and facilities required for Defence operations are in top form, that our members have the training they need to be successful, and that we are using the latest innovations in science and technology. Civilian operational functions include the maintenance of armoured personnel carriers, tanks, aircraft, Photonavy vessels and other equipment. Technicians are required for various tasks and material maintenance including ammunition products, electrical systems, and medical services. Instructors train members in the use of equipment and communication technology. Defence scientists and engineers apply their knowledge and research findings to enable efficient and progressive Defence operations.
