 As a directorate of the
Director General Joint Force Development Division (DGJFD),
the mission of DPDT is to support
Canadian Forces (CF) operations through the development and coordination of strategic
and operational level, joint and combined, doctrine, plans and training in support of a joint force capability. To accomplish this mission,
DPDT is organized
into five separate sections, each contributing to the overall effectiveness of the CF
and to the development of CF joint force
capabilities.
