The mission of the Information Management Group (IM Gp) is to provide the leadership, products and services needed to manage information as a corporate resource essential to the success of the mission and objectives of the Department of National Defence and the Canadian Forces.

To be a key member of the Defence Team, viewed as a prime contributor to the success of Canadian Forces operations and Department of National Defence management objectives by providing superior information management capabilities.
