CFHA Corporate Services

The Corporate Services Division is comprised of four sections:

  • Administration and Contract Management
  • Human Resources Management
  • Information Management
  • Management Advisory Services
Administration and Contract Management
The Administration and Contract Management section provides administration support throughout the Agency. The contracting section provides advice and services on the procurement of goods and professional services. The administration section provides advice and administrative support in the areas of reception, mail and courier services, office supplies, facility management and Health and Safety.
Information Management

The Information Management (IM) section is accountable for providing the necessary technical infrastructure, corporate applications, and support services to ensure proper utilization of corporate information within the Agency for its daily operations.

IM supports the Agency’s mandate and strategic goals by managing the development, deployment and maintenance of systems and applications as well as interfaces with departmental systems. IM strives for the comprehensive and effective management of the Agency’s resources in response to operational requirements and to ensure that new and emerging IM requirements are implemented efficiently and effectively through centralization of IM authorities.

IM is also responsible for assisting the users in identifying their requirements by conducting technical evaluation, testing, installing and supporting hardware and software through the implementation of an integrated Service Desk.

Human Resources Management
CFHA has been delegated full authority associated with human resources management decision-making and responsibility in the HR (Human Resources) operations across Canada. Recognizing that it is the people who make a difference and who can be the source of CFHA’s success, HR places emphasis on the delivery of high quality service. HR is an integral participant contributing to CFHA’s overall business plan by facilitating the recruitment, training and retention of talented employees with the skills and competencies necessary to carry out the organization’s strategic objectives now and in the future.
Management Advisory Services

The Management Advisory Services (MAS) section is responsible for the coordination of oversight and monitoring activities throughout the Agency and is the office of primary interest on matters related to audit and evaluation. MAS personnel provide management advice and services in corporate management and strategic frameworks related to strategic planning, performance measurement, management accountability, integrated risk management, continuous improvement, values and ethics. The Management Advisory Services section is responsible for managing the implementation of the National Quality Institute’s Progressive Excellence Program within the Canadian Forces Housing Agency.
