Junior Canadian Rangers - Honours

Junior Canadian Rangers are active and engaged members of their communities. Often they are seen as role models by their peers or looked up to by the younger generation. They are responsible, helpful, polite and knowledgeable young Canadians who are a pleasure to welcome into your lives.

Nothing makes us feel better than to hear stories about how the Junior Canadian Ranger Programme has made a real difference in the day-to-day functioning of a community, or how a single teenager has turned his or her life around as a result of participation in the Junior Canadian Rangers Programme. Good news stories such as these are encouraging to the participants and are rewarding to the leaders and instructors who feel acknowledged for their efforts.

In these pages we invite you to read about Junior Canadian Rangers who have proven to be dedicated, upstanding members of their communities. We welcome your thoughts and comments in recognition of their truly inspiring efforts to overcome obstacles and challenges in their quest to improve the lives of their neighbours and to make themselves better citizens.
